Crate Digger Record Fair – May 4

Crate Digger Record Fair settles into its new home at Brunswick’s art hub and music venue Howler Melbourne with its monthly record fair on Saturday 4th May.

Record fairs are held on the first Saturday of each month at Howler – easy to remember – so if you miss this one, we’ll see you next month.

With a room full of stalls offering vinyl junkies a range of records spanning all genres including rock, pop, indie, punk, country, funk, soul, disco, metal, latin, prog, blues, jazz, doo wop, garage, folk, soundtracks and more, there is something for everyone. Sellers range from folks selling their personal collection through to serious dealers trading in records old and new from around the world. You won’t find much in the way of Jim Nabors, Kamahl or polka records kicking around here – just stuff you actually wanna buy.

Whether you are a hardcore collector or are new to the world of vinyl, you will find yourself leaving the Crate Digger Record Fair with a clutch of records to cherish forever. And you can get a tasty feed and drink from the folks at Howler while you’re at it.

Easily accessible by public transport (halfway between Brunswick and Jewell railway stations / Sydney Rd Tram) and with plenty of parking available in the lot out front of the venue plus along Dawson St, Howler is an ideal location for a record fair. Come on down and dig into those crates!
